How does YGC India work?
Yatha Green Council Of India is a non-profit organization. We are committed to protecting, sustaining, and helping to grow back our ecosystem. YGC India will work with government as well as with international organizations and various other environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Primary Tasks
1) To help keep our planet alive by implementing new green material technologies.
(2) Invest in renewable energy like solar panels.
(3) To make sure that people understand the importance of living organically.
(4) Raise awareness about eco-friendly products.
How we can achieve it?
YGC India focuses on bringing nature back to cities. The project originates from Chennai, India and is spreading across the country involving the local residents in creating their own man-made forest. The need for nature in our lives has never been more obvious then in recent years as the population of our cities continues to grow and the magnitude of the city abandon’s out once renowned beauty, but we find solace and joy in the trees around us – now if only they were taller than they are now.
Our goal with this campaign is to collect donations that will help expand our project into different cities: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Bangalore. Once these projects are up and running we will use resources to work on strengthening them, developing more projects and promoting environmental activism among citizens.
1. Our motto is to establish EA LAB(Environment and Agriculture Skill Set Laboratory) as part of their lifestyle and to make every individual more inclined towards sustainable living practices.
2.To create a world where students equip themselves with knowledge and technological experience on our soil , food, environment and agriculture.
3. Social responsibility and ecological consciousness and to be inculcated from childhood for one to lead and awaken our ancestral path in protecting our resources.
4. We aim to empower students for a better career perspective in the early years with a wide range of transferable skill sets.
