Events

In order to spread awareness about environment, we organize various activities like VAR (Vallalar Awareness Run), Walk With Pari, Environmental Pledge  On August 15. We aim at promoting the cause of protecting mother earth. Seminars and workshops are conducted by YGC India for  spreading environmental consciousness amongst youth.

The activities are organized in different phases. We conducts such events to spread awareness about the importance of greenery, the environment and its impact on human health. People from different walks of life come together to discuss various issues related to environment and greenery. The activities are organized in phases so that everyone can learn more about greening the world and its benefits.

To stay connected with our friends and the world at large, we share information via social medias, which are accessible from any device. Let’s explore more about these ways to spread awareness about environment, as well as how to become a part of it:

VAR (Vallalar Awareness Run)

VAR is an event that creates awareness about preserving our environment. From soil to climate, the world is in a state of war. The planet is peeling away at its fastest pace in history. Resources are becoming scarcer as a result. And then there’s the pollution – everywhere you look, we have problems. Our air and water are filled with it. The evidence is everywhere:Countries around the world report a rise in cases of respiratory disease, including cholera and dysentery; those living in polluted areas are more likely to contract pneumonia than those who live elsewhere; and according to the World Health Organization, almost all of these places have too much of it. Wrong on all counts! In fact, most places are doing very well under these conditions.

We’re looking at change that isn’t coming from within—but rather, from the outside. We need more than just a few strong leaders to make our vision a reality. In order to bring about positive change together, YGC India is launching an action plan on August 15.
