The Yatha Green Council of India, a section 8 company registered with ROC (Registrar of Companies) is an organization advocating for the environment. To be the voice that’s needed. We are a non-profitable organization to protect, sustain and grow back to our ecosystem.
History
YGC India, it’s a 5 years dream that got here actual in 2021. This NGO is a non-profitable and non-government organization. The thumb rule of nature says that 30 percent of the land must be forest. However, it’s now no longer so. This is the reason YGC India selected afforestation as one of the fundamental challenges of the organization.
School time is a period that is always etched in everyone’s life. So we felt that an awareness should first take place at the school level. We strongly believe that anything taught to a child stays forever. That is the reason YGC India chose environmental education and agriculture to be a part of the school curriculum.
The EA lab (Environment & Agriculture Skill Set Lab) will be an eye opener for their career as environmental and agricultural education is academically vigorous and involves developing a wide range of transferable skills
